Arkansas House Bill 1798
Thank you for your quick response communicating with your state representatives and senators about the adverse impacts of House Bill 1798. Because of the efforts of concerned members, a solution was reached with the Speaker of the Arkansas House of Representatives and bill sponsors to address the pole attachment issues through a proceeding at the Arkansas Public Service Commission. The commission has jurisdiction to set pole attachment rates and deal with pole attachment issues. The cooperatives believe this is the appropriate method to handle these matters, instead of through the legislative process. Thank you so much for your engagement in this effort, which is a great example of the value of cooperative ownership and the cooperative community working together for everyone's common good.
