Employees can join ACRE with a simple payroll deduction. A regular membership is $25 a year, which if done through payroll deduction is only about $1 per pay period.

Furthermore, the contribution to ACRE is deductible from state income tax. In other words, cooperative employees can join and support this organization at no out-of-pocket expense.

Through ACRE, cooperatives ensure that they are playing a vital part in the political process. Involvement in the political process is the only way electric cooperatives can make sure their voices are heard.
