Current Issue of Rural Arkansas |
|
In 1946, the first issue of the Arkansas REA News was distributed to members of the state's electric cooperatives. Through that publication, members learned about issues of importance to the cooperatives during the critical early years of the rural electrification movement. That publication, now known as Rural Arkansas magazine, is still going strong today with about 326,000 readers. With its entertaining articles, compelling photographs of rural Arkansas and ever-popular recipes, the monthly magazine truly is a cooperative institution.
