2016 Efficiency Makeover Winners


The 2016 Energy Efficiency Makeover Contest awarded 17 grand prizes of $3,000 in energy efficiency improvements to one member of each of Arkansas' 17 electric distribution cooperatives. The all-electric homes of these electric cooperative members are now much more energy efficient, lowering the members' electric bills and improving the comfort of their homes. Congratulations to the following winners of the 2016 Energy Efficiency Makeover Contest.

Andra Collins is the local winner representing Woodruff Electric Co-op

Andra Collins is the local winner representing Woodruff Electric Cooperative. Collin's home will receive up to $5,000 in energy efficiency improvements and is joined by representatives from Woodruff, SEAL and the makeover team. We will begin the makeover Aug. 11. The Scott family is the local winner for Carroll Electric Cooperative. Mark and Karen will receive up to $5,000 in energy efficiency improvements. Representatives from Summit Builders, Carroll and the makeover team were on hand to congratulate the Scotts. The Smart Energy Tips Facebook page and website are full of useful energy efficiency tips and solutions.
