Chief Commercial Officer (CCO)
Jason Allen of Springdale joined Arkansas Electric Cooperatives, Inc. (AECI) as Chief Commercial Officer in October of 2023. In his role with AECI, Allen provides executive direction to the member-owned cooperative’s utility sales and services division. This diverse division includes approximately 300 employees that provide services, including product sales, warehouse and logistics, safety, construction, right-of-way, high voltage testing and energy efficiency services. These services are provided to the 17 electric cooperatives in Arkansas as well as utilities throughout the region. Allen earned a bachelor’s degree in financial management from the University of Arkansas and a master’s in business administration from John Brown University. He was a four-year letterman, quarterback and team captain for the Arkansas Razorbacks while pursuing his undergraduate degree. Allen volunteers with altruistic organizations that focus on mentoring athletes.
